Terms of Service

Last updated 13 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Mason Foundry LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"), which operates HouseBooked. By using HouseBooked you accept them. They are short on purpose.

What HouseBooked does

You give us a link to your short-term rental listing. We use Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, to read that public listing and draft a mobile-friendly guest guidebook from it — arrival directions, check-in steps, a house guide, house rules, and nearby recommendations. We email you a free preview. If you like it, you pay $29 once and we unlock it.

Unlocking gives you:

You can save a PDF at any time using your browser's Print → Save as PDF. That copy is yours permanently and does not depend on us.

Price and payment

HouseBooked costs $29 US dollars, one time. There is no subscription and no recurring charge — we will never bill you again. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.

Refunds

If you are not happy, email info@masonfoundry.com within 14 days of paying and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason and we will not try to talk you out of it.

When we refund you, your guidebook link stops working. Save a PDF first if you want to keep the content.

We can offer this because you see the entire guidebook before you pay anything. If it is not good, do not pay. If you paid and then changed your mind, we would rather give the money back than have an unhappy host.

The honest limits of an AI-drafted guidebook

You must read your guidebook before you give it to a guest. It is drafted by an AI model from your public listing and from web searches about your neighbourhood. That means it can be wrong. A restaurant may have closed. A walking time may be optimistic. A detail may have been misread from your listing.

You are the one who knows your property. Check it, fix anything that is off, and only then hand it to your guests. We give you an edit link and a free round of revisions precisely so that you can.

We do not warrant that the guidebook is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose, and we are not responsible for anything that happens because a guest relied on it. This does not limit any right you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Your listing and your content

By giving us your listing link, you confirm that you have the right to use the text and photographs on it. Your guidebook displays photos by linking to them on the listing platform's own servers — we do not copy or store them. If you take your listing down or the platform changes its addresses, those images may stop loading. Tell us and we will rebuild the guidebook.

You keep ownership of everything you write into the finish-up form and everything on your listing. You grant us only the permission we need to build, display, and host your guidebook.

You may not use HouseBooked for anything unlawful, or for a property you do not have the right to rent out.

Hosting your guidebook

We will keep your guidebook online for as long as we operate HouseBooked, at no further charge. We are a small company and we are not going to promise you eternity in a legal document and then quietly break it. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email so you can save your PDF and QR code. Both of those keep working without us.

We may take a guidebook offline without notice if it is used for something illegal, or if it is being abused.

Liability

HouseBooked is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with HouseBooked is capped at the amount you actually paid us — which, for almost everyone, is $29. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost bookings or lost income.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If we cannot resolve a dispute by talking, it goes to the courts of Wyoming. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will email everyone with an active guidebook before the change takes effect. The terms in force when you paid are the ones that govern your purchase.
